She Said No To An Oracle Job At 19 | Pratigya Thakur | Chaos To Clarity Podcast
About this episode
In the year 2000, Pratigya Thakur trained on Oracle's own programme in Bangalore and was offered a job at the end of it. She said no, came back to Nagpur, and opened her own institute instead. She was nineteen. Twenty five years later, more than 80,000 students have passed through Unisoft Technologies.
In this episode of Chaos To Clarity she talks about the ninety thousand rupee course fee she paid at nineteen when Oracle University told her she was too young for it, the rented laptop she practised on, the first seminar in front of three hundred students where the colleague she brought along refused to go on stage, and the twenty two students who made up her first year. She also explains what she thinks of hundred percent job guarantee courses, why she says a certificate is not a job, what she tells a twenty year old to learn in the age of AI, and why she believes an institute is a coach and never an employer.
